One finger darker

E, A, and D each have a minor version one finger away. The finger that moves is holding the third, and it drops a half step: the same major-to-minor move you played on the keyboard, now visible in the grip.

Three pairs

Each pair differs by one dot. Find it, then strum both and hear the mood flip.

The moved note, alone

One row per pair: the chord's third before and after. E major's G♯ drops to G, and E turns minor. The other five strings never move.

G Gthe third drops a half step
C Cthe third drops a half step
F Fthe third drops a half step
